George started his final tour in Lubbock.....a city where he'd been numerous times before.... he surprised fans with a new setlist that included past hits he hadn't done on stage in many years...such as Marina Del Rey, Honky Tonk Crazy and, from "Pure Country", The King of Broken Hearts...the concert was at the United Spirit Arena on January 18th.....

King George was also rockin' a brand new black guitar....beautiful !!!!

This tour George is doing something he's never done in concert before:   singing a few songs while sitting on a stool....he's also talking in between songs a lot more....commenting on some of the songs' writers and how he decided to records them, etc.....no doubt fans are enjoying this new more "talkative" George....;)  

Lubbock fans were treated to handshakes all around the stage before the cowboy rode away for the last time ....here's hoping he does the same thing at ALL the concerts this tour....
